I found your ad for a 'Client Services Director - Performics' on hotjobs.com and would very much like to be considered for the job. As a career technology manager, I have spent the last decade developing and managing various online marketing and e-commerce activities for clients and employers. These include successful development of affiliate networks, keyword advertising, search engine optimization, etc. In addition, I have substantial experience developing the goals and messages to be implemented by these programs. I also have a great deal of experience working with customers in various sales and marketing organizations. I am confident that these experiences qualify me to make this position a success for Performics.

I have a strong record of successful project management. Working for the consumer products company, 2grrrls, Inc., I developed their entire web/e-commerce presence and enhanced it with affilliate marketing. In addition to direct sales, this website included social networking and self-expression components that substantially increased the number of return visits and the number of page views per visit.

I am an experienced manager and pride myself on being a strong mentor to team members. I am able to take responsibility for all aspects of a business unit with special sensitivity to the client relationships and their development. I have written business plans, sales development plans and many forms of business analysis including long ans short-term economic analysis and trend reporting. Working with creative vendors, I have developed complete brand packages and implemented them in an online context.

Most important, though, I am a really good client person. Even in the beginning of my career, I was recruited out of the engineering world to act as the technical liaison with R.R. Donnelley's largest customers, JC Penney, Sears, Scientific American, etc. In every other job I've had, I have been recognized as a great asset in maximizing the harmony between the client and production.

As I read this job description, you are looking for a person that can set goals and achieve them by encouraging a team to do their best work for the client and the company. You want someone that takes responsibility and is communicative with management. This job calls for someone that can listen to a customer, develop a mutual vision and cause it to become real.
