I found your ad for 'Web Producer' on Craig's List. I have heard that Leapfrog Online is a great company and would like to join the team. I am an experienced interactive website developer with broad business and organizational skills. I am an expert in PHP/mySQL and all of the normal web development technologies. I am a creative person with demonstrated ability to accomplish large projects. I think I would be able to make a strong contribution to Leapfrog.

For my last employer, Restorion, I wrote a comprehensive interactive website. The sales part was fully content-managed, the purchase part allowed the user to configure a whole company's worth of online backup accounts, the client control panel allowed them to managed, the website did scheduled invoicing, there was a distributor sales support section. For an earlier freelance client, I wrote a DSL provisioning system that managed a production control database and interacted with the world by parsing incoming emails and sending emails in response. When the recipient was a vendor system, it sent XML.

I am really good both at the actual programming but also at the creative solution and architecture level. I have many years of experience and that allows me to have a sense of what will work well and be possible to implement in the time allowed. I have sales/marketing experience that allows me to know which frills to make general purpose and reusable and In which parts the quick, easy method will do the job. I also have good communication skills and am a good team-player.

I first heard about Leapfrog from a technical recruiter/friend named Rich Speziale. SInce then I have been enthusiastically watching for opportunities in your company. I am confident that I would be able to do a good job for Leapfrog and would like to explore the possibility of joining the company.
